Not stored, because the apps never collect it: what is inside your files, your keystrokes, your screen, other apps and windows, and pages that match none of your rules.

Privacy here is not a setting someone could change. The apps simply do not collect what they would need to watch you.
What Temporal.ist records
File activity
Which files in your watched folders changed, how often and when. Never what is inside them.
Matching websites
That a tab matching one of your rules was open, and for how long. Not the page, and nothing about other sites.
Your sessions
Project, start, end, pauses and the task you name.
Account and billing
Your name and email address and, on a paid plan, what the payment provider needs to charge you.
What it never records
Screenshots or screen recordings
The apps contain no code that could take them.

And no activity percentages or productivity scores built from them.

Owners and admins see hours on the team's projects. Nobody sees screens, keystrokes or file contents.

Questions
Can Temporal.ist take screenshots if my employer turns it on?
No. There is no setting for it, on any plan, because the apps contain no code that captures the screen, keystrokes or mouse movement.
Does the browser extension see my browsing history?
No. It compares the addresses of your open tabs with the rules you wrote, inside your browser. Only the project, the start and the end of a matching stretch are sent.
Who can see my tracked time?
You. In a team, the owner and admins also see the time you track on the team's projects. AI assistants and apps see it only after you connect them, and you can revoke them at any time.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes, on every plan: download everything stored about you as JSON or as spreadsheets, whenever you like. Deleting your account removes your personal data after a 30-day period in which you can change your mind.
Let your work keep its own time
Start on the free plan: no card and no trial period. Install the desktop app or the browser extension, choose what belongs to each project, and keep working.
